The Formula

This moisturizer addresses the lipid layer directly. The ceramide complex mirrors the skin's natural composition, working to reinforce the moisture barrier over time. We selected three types of ceramides that research indicates are most effective for barrier function.

The shea butter comes from a women's cooperative in Burkina Faso. It undergoes minimal processing to retain its natural fatty acid profile. Combined with olive-derived squalane, the formula provides sustained moisture without occlusion.

Edelweiss extract, harvested from Swiss Alpine regions, contributes antioxidant properties. The plant's survival at high altitude requires compounds that protect against environmental stress.
